Thomas Sandell
We meet Thomas in the spring of 2007, discussing the idea of a floating hotel room, made especially for marinas and guest harbors around Sweden that are unoccupied during a great part of the year. We agreed that the idea was tempting: to design a very smart but small floating house to be placed several in a row at a marina. A month later, Thomas presented his skecth and we realized that we had a perfect, small and modern, beautifully designed cabin. Sandell has a great ability to combine functionality and aesthetics, and every little corner is planned to give maximal functionality.
Jonas Wagell
We contacted Jonas Wagell in the early winter of 2007, suggesting that we should produce the Mini House. After a five-hour meeting both parties agreed that this was a winning cooperation. Jonas’ designing philosophy was very attractive to us; when building a small house you should adjust the components to fit the scale. Most houses on the market do not follow this axiom; hence some are off-scale and feature strange proportions. Please visit Jonas’ webpage to read more about his designs and products.
